Limitless Confidence

Large breasts can pose challenges and have an impact on your daily life. You may feel tired of living with the discomfort, pain, and heaviness that large breasts cause. Aside from bearing this weight and strain, you may also feel discouraged by the appearance of sagging and lack of confidence in tight clothing.

Do you desire smaller, more proportional, and youthful-looking breasts?

Breast Reduction at Toronto DermaPlastic Clinic offers you a transformative journey to a lighter, more comfortable, and confident version of yourself.

Discover perfect proportions with
Breast Reduction

Breast Reduction is a surgical procedure designed to reduce the size and volume of the breasts. Our board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Reza Ahmadzadeh, leverages the principles of symmetry, proportion, and anatomical considerations to alleviate the physical discomfort and limitations caused by disproportionately large breasts.

The Journey to Enhanced Comfort & Beauty

During your Breast Reduction, you can expect to be comfortably sedated under anesthesia while our skilled surgeon, Dr. Reza Ahmadzadeh, carries out the details of your surgical plan. Incisions are strategically made to remove excess breast tissue, fat, and skin. Every patient requires a unique combination of incisions, volume reduction, lifting, and sometimes areola repositioning to bring their breast vision to life.

Breast Reduction Incisions

``Donut`` or peri-areolar incision

This incision is made around the border of the areola. It is often used for smaller reductions and allows for the removal of excess breast tissue and skin. The resulting scar blends well with the natural colour of the areola.

Vertical Incision

The vertical incision involves two components—an incision made around the border of the areola and a vertical incision that extends from the areola down to the inframammary fold. This technique is suitable for moderate reductions and provides better access to reshape the breast tissue.

Anchor or Inverted-T Incision

The anchor or inverted T incision combines the elements of the peri-areolar and vertical incisions with an additional horizontal incision along the inframammary fold. This technique is used for larger reductions or cases with significant sagging.

Your Path to Beautiful Results

Breast Reduction involves a vital phase of recovery, during which your body heals, adjusts, and transforms. Immediately after surgery, you may experience some soreness, swelling, and bruising, which are normal and temporary. Dr. Reza Ahmadzadeh will provide instructions on post-operative care, including wearing a supportive bra and managing any discomfort. In the first few weeks of recovery, you will be encouraged to engage in light activities while avoiding strenuous exercises or heavy lifting. Most patients return to work after 1-2 weeks.

A Testament to Transformation

As time progresses, you will appreciate the remarkable transformation that comes with achieving a lighter, more proportionate, and balanced breast size. You will observe a significant improvement in your breast shape, position, and overall appearance. Your breasts will be more in harmony with your body, relieving the physical discomfort caused by oversized breasts and allowing you to embrace a renewed sense of confidence and freedom in your daily life.
